With more than 20 years of experience in the Middle East and more than nine in Qatar, Pranil has worked on some of the region’s most recognisable developments, gathering experience in infrastructure, utilties, hospitality, retail, leisure and sports complexes.

Pranil graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying and has been accredited with the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors.

Pranil is an experienced commercial director having worked for both employers and contractors and managed large commercial departments on high value projects. The youngest ever director of a reputable international commercial consultancy, Pranil decided to found his own consultancy in 2017 and has since been building a reputation in the Middle East, Asia and Africa as a trusted partner to clients and contractors alike.

Pranil has acted as mediator in high value disputes, participated in arbitration proceedings and prides himself on finding common ground and driving amicable dispute resolution.

Before Pranil founded HIT, he was working for an international commercial consultancy in the role of divisional director. He moved from Dubai to set up and run their offices in Qatar.

Pranil acted as Commercial Director for the main contractor on several high value projects in Doha including Al Bayt Stadium, the Mall of Qatar and Banana Island Resort. Pranil was responsible for all aspects of commercial covering procurement, main and subcontract administration, cost reporting and budgeting, and the preparation and evaluation of claims.

Projects Involved: 

In his role as Director, Pranil has managed multiple commercial teams on several projects in parallel. He has previously worked in leading roles on projects in Dubai, South Africa and Qatar on projects including the Four Seasons Hotel Abu Dhabi, the Four Seasons Hotel in Dubai Festival City, the Madinat Jumeira Resort, the Qatari Diar HeadQuarters in Doha,The Address in Dubai,Sheraton Hotel Doha,The NED, Doha and The View Hospital, Doha. He is currently active on the NED Hotel Doha, Losail F1 Race Track upgrade, and several other landmark projects in Qatar.
